My fantastic Easter's vacation

For the Easters I got 1 week free on the work and I decide to not spent time for doing nothing or working, but use it effective and go to travel somewhere. As for long time, I wanted to go to Chiapas - south part of mexico - the most poor part of the coutry and the most saved part, where also I can see pyramids of civilizations Maya and also some indious people, who's relatives was from civilization Maya (they speak spanish and also their own dialects). It looked for me excited.

I went there with my friend Natalia and her brother Anatolij.
We started our trip on Monday morning and we went to Oaxaca state (next state to Chiapas) to see it's nice capital and also to Monte Alban to watch pyramids (I already visited this places in the end of August).

Interesting thing on this piramids is that last time when I visited them, here everything was green and now, because during the autumn and winter in Mexico almost doesn't rain and it is still hot, it became brown.

This is again Oaxaca city in the evening, when we returned to the city.

In the night we took a bus and went to the Chiapas. It took 8 hours from us. We arrived to the capital of Chiapas state -Tuxtla Gutierrez. We walked there for a while and left to another city (30 minutes from Tuxtla) - Chiapa de Corzo.

Chiapa de Corzo. Here we took a hotel and went for a walk. This city I loved a lot, it is small and very cute. And it is famous with it's Canon del Sumidero, where we went after small walk.

Canon del Sumidero.

Canon was something unbelievable. It is when you go on the boat by the river and all around you are huge mountains and you feel so small. When we came back we sit down in the bar to take some beer. It was quite cheap and they gave us some extras - in the beggining nuts, then some fruits, which name I don't remember and then mango with salt and all of it we had to eat with beer ... we liked it.
After we went for a walk more around the city and we enjoyed our time and that city a lot.

In the morning we went to San Cristobal de las casas - one of the most famous cities in this state. And it was unbelievable cute with a lot of Maya people, which was selling a lot of handicrafts and talked between each other in their dialect.

After check-in in hotel and for a walk in the city, we went to Lagos de Montebello, what was like 2 hours from the city. And this place for sure was worse it to go there.
That place is place on the border with Guatemala and with a lot of lakes with different colors of water and sooo clean and transparent. It looked like on postcards. When we arrived there we had to take service - driver with car, who would show us all places and we were travelling in the back part of pick-up kind car.

I couldn't not to swim in such fantastic place and I did it. Water was more or less warm and extremely clean and I enjoyed it a lot. After there we crossed the border with Guatemala, where Mexico and Guatemala share the same lake. We crossed it without border control (we even didn't have passports with us)

In the night we returned to San Cristobal de las Casas to see the city more, because in the night we had to take bus for 6 hours to Palenque.
This day was first official day of Easters (Thursday) and many people was going to church and outside of the church, there were marketplace with the food and drinks. This city was a bit cold, so many people even were wearing hats, jackets and scarves. So finally it looked like Christmas eve - people dressing warm, go to church and there is market place on the street with food and hot drinks. Atmosphere was amazing.

In the morning we arrived to Palenque - city famous with pyramids of Maya, surrounded by jungles. It was huge territory, we spent there walking like 4-5 hours. And here I accidently met a girl Jazmin, whom I just proposed to help to make a photo and then to join me in my walk (I and Natalia with her brother was walking separatelly) and she agreed. During our walk we were talking all the way and had really interesting discussions. Finally, I liked that girl very much and we continued our trip already 4 of us.

Because pyramids was in the jungles, you could jungles from different aspects, one of which is that you can meet monkies there.

After our pyramids we went to Misol-ha, one of the famous waterfalls. Because bus didn't bring you there, we had to hitchhike and we did it in 1 minutes, another tourists pick us in their pick-up, where we had to sit again behind. And the funniest thing, that the same people brought us back to Palenque later on, because in that place there were no free rooms to stay.

Next day was day what we were waiting very much, because we were going to visit Agua Azul (Blue water), what is famous with it color of water and waterfall. And we even were swimming there.

After Agua azul we went to Agua Clara, what was 20 minutes from there. This place I liked a lot. It doesn't have any waterfall, but it has beautiful lake with sky-blue water, where you can swim and also swim on the "boat". Here I enjoyed a lot, but Jazmin and Natalia was scared a lot was sky-bridge, what didn't look too safe (I crossed it 4 times). In the lake I enjoyed my swimming that I swim over the lake from one side and back.

;

In the night we came back to Palenque city and this was the last day when we were travelling together with Natalia and her brother. Next day was also my last day of trip and I was travelling with Jazmin. During the last 2 nights we shared hotel room with her, to make it cheaper and funnier and we had very interesting and talks. I found that she is very inteligent person and with strong personality and that made our discussions so interesting.

The last day of my trip, we with Jazmin went to another state - Tabasco, also famous with it's tradegy that happened 4-5 months ago, when all the state was under the water. This state was kind of different from Chiapas - it had even more virgin nature, more quite and more poor.

The first place where we went was a beach-city called Paraiso (Paradise). It was different from other beaches I visited - it was less developed with less infrastructure and less annoying sellers.

After swimming in blue lakes and waterfalls, you already don't want to swim in salty ocean, so that's why we didn't swim there, but just spent 1 hour, while we were talking about how to make a business and need of master degree. That was the place, where I started to want to apply for master after my return from Brazil.
After the beach we went to Camalcalco city, it was cute, but nothing special.

Then finally we arrive to the Villahermosa - capital of Tabasco, where we made small tour for 2 hours to see the city. And here you still could find bags of sand, that was used during catastrophe.

And in this day my fantastic and exited trip finished. Jazmin left to airport to fly to Mexico city and I stayed for 4-5 hours more waiting for my bus. After 10 hours of trip I arrived to Mexico city tired, but extremely happy, because I saw the most beautiful places I ever see in my life and I met amazing person.
